Once you've learned how to find primary care physicians (PCPs) with Amino, you might wonder which search options are best for you.
Here's an overview of how primary care search works on Amino for members on reference-based pricing (RBP) insurance plans.
Amino shows you Smart Matches first
Smart Match helps you easily identify doctors who are RBP-friendly and high-quality for your needs.
Primary care physicians with the Smart Match label satisfy all of the following criteria:
- Are RBP-friendly for your plan
- Are high-quality primary care physicians
(Wondering how we evaluate the doctor's quality? Learn more about how we identify high-quality physicians.)
You can also sort by Amino Quality Score
Using the sort menu on your search results, you can switch to sorting your results by best Amino Quality Score. When you sort by Amino Quality Score, the doctors with the highest Amino Quality Score appear first.
You can also sort by distance
When convenience is essential, you may just need to know which doctor is closest. To sort your results by distance, select Distance from the sort menu and add your address using the edit icon. The doctors closest to your address will appear first.
